DeKalb County Summer Voucher Program

A special back-to-school hair care experience for eligible DeKalb County students. Space is limited and registration is only open to qualified participants.

Provided at no cost to approved families in collaboration with the DeKalb County Summer Voucher Program.

What’s Included:

  • Professional hair care services (wash, condition, and styling)

  • Hands-on education about healthy hair maintenance

  • Age-appropriate hair care products

  • Lunch/snacks

  • A fun and supportive learning environment

  • Take-home hair care tips and resources

Before Applying

Please confirm that your family meets ALL of the following requirements:

☐ My child is between 12–16 years old

☐ We are DeKalb County residents

☐ Our household meets the HUD income guidelines

☐ I understand documentation is required

☐ I understand only 10 participants will be accepted

Please have the following ready before beginning:

✔ Government-issued ID or Utility Bill

✔ 2025 Signed Federal Tax Return

✔ Medicaid/PeachCare Card (if applicable)

Incomplete applications may delay approval.
